What is real silk?

Real silk generally refers to silk, including mulberry silk, tussah silk, ramie silk, and cassava silk. Known as the "Fiber Queen", real silk is favored by people all over the world for its unique charm. Real silk is a protein fiber. It can be can adapted to a variety of internal and external clothing and decorative needs, such as silk pajamas, outerwear, silk pillowcase and silk eye mask.

Silk fabrics can be divided into 14 categories and 43 sub-categories. Excellent brands rely on high-tech production processes in fabric dyeing and finishing processes, using environmentally friendly dyes with color fastness of 3-4.5 grade. While letting people appreciate the unique color beauty of silk fabrics, it maintains the naturalness of silk fabrics. Different degrees of pre-shrinking treatment are also carried out during the post-treatment of the fabric to ensure the shrinkage of silk clothing using silk fabrics is 0.5-3%.

1. Crepe

Crepe is a silk satin made from silk. Crepe has many specifications and complete sets. It is not only suitable for making shirts, but also for a variety of embroidered clothes, it has a wide range of uses. It is an important variety of China's silk production and export, accounting for 15% and 10% of the total silk production and export. Crepe is popular because of its many characteristics, good quality and wide use. 

2. Taffeta

Taffeta has three kinds of taffeta plain, tag taffet and taffeta brocade, all of which are famous traditional Chinese varieties in the world.The characteristics of taffeta are that there are close interweaving points between warp and weft, small gaps and smooth silk surface. The silk body is firm and soft due to the special processing of the warp and weft threads. Taffeta is a top fabric of women's dresses, and women in Europe and America and many other regions are very fond of it. However, the production process of taffeta is complex, the output is not much, which makes it even more precious. 

3. Jacquard Silk

Jacquard silk is a satin that uses a jacquard machine to woven the warp and weft threads into various patterns. Jacquard silk is very popular in Western Europe. A variety of jacquard silk not only can be adapted to paste walls and various decorations. Using silk jacquard as wall paste is  beautiful and generous, it also can absorb gas and regulate indoor temperature. Jacquard silk is produced in China's silk production areas, accounting for more than 35% of the total silk production, accounting for about 20% of the silk export volume.

4. Crepe Satin Plain

It is a conventional fabric in silk fabrics. The bright satin is very noble, the hand feels smooth and the structure is compact. The shrinkage rate of the is relatively large, and the gloss of the fabric will decrease after washing.

5. Stretch Satin

It is a new kind of fabric with 90% - 95% mulberry silk and 5% - 10% spandex. It belongs to interwoven fabric.  It is characterized by good elasticity, comfort, relatively small shrinkage and unique style. 

6. Warp Knitting

It is a new special fabric for knitting, with high technology content and high-grade products. It is characterized by soft, delicate, soft and comfortable hand. 

After dyeing and weaving, various colorful silk fabrics are easier to sew and process into various high-grade garments, interior decorations and tourist souvenirs. Domestic and foreign consumers regard real silk as the "source of beauty".
